Konami Gaming appoints Eric Schultz as VP of Studio Operations

Konami Gaming has named Eric Schultz as its VP of Studio Operations, entrusting him with overseeing game development encompassing software, art, sound design, math design and project management.

Schultz, with a background in gaming spanning over 20 years, previously served Konami in various capacities, initially joining the software engineering team in 2004 and eventually attaining the position of Senior Director of Game Software Engineering in 2014.

Steve Sutherland, President and CEO of Konami Gaming, said: “Eric Schultz brings a demonstrated ability to effectively manage multidisciplinary teams to achieve strong product outcomes in the field for our casino customers and their players.

The announcement arrives shortly after Konami Gaming's recent sales leadership promotions. Notably, Josh Faish and Justin Torres were appointed Directors of Sales, focusing on customer relations and professional development. 

Additionally, Caroline Byne,Play Casino Online Jeff Fuller and Rick Tribble were elevated to Director of Business Development roles, concentrating on growth strategies in key markets.

The company recently entered an exclusive distribution deal with Bravery Gaming, enabling the distribution of titles like China Shores, Jumpin’ Jalapenos, Dragon’s Law and All Aboard in Georgia's regulated, non-casino markets. This partnership serves to broaden the availability of Konami Gaming's titles across COAM halls.

Moreover, Konami Gaming partnered with Caesars Sportsbook & Casino, facilitating the integration of the entire Konami online gaming collection into real-money websites operated by Caesars Digital. Players in several jurisdictions, including New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Ontario, now have access to Konami's slot titles through this collaboration.
